Congratulations to our Fort Worth star, Sophia Chenault, on being selected for the Fabulous Dancing Dolls—for a remarkable second year! As a Legacy Doll, she honors her mother Regina’s path and brings our community that much more pride.
The Fabulous Dancing Dolls are a prestigious Southern University tradition, founded in 1969. Combining grace, precision, and showmanship, they bring Southern’s “Human Jukebox” marching band to life—on iconic stages like the Super Bowl, Rose Parade, and even Beyoncé’s “Homecoming.”
These performers are more than dancers—they’re ambassadors of style, discipline, and excellence. Only a select few with advanced training and strong academic records earn a spot—and they commit to rigorous practice schedules, flawless execution, and high standards cultivated across generations of Dolls.
We salute Sophia’s dedication and look forward to cheering her on as she adds her name to this extraordinary legacy!
